Putting the "Fun" Back in Fundraising

Working hard to gather auction items for our big launch party and fundraising extravaganza. I've had some really cool - and generous - donations uh... well... donated. Shannon and Gary Gilkison graciously gave a private wine tasting to a winery in Santa Cruz, for 30 people! Patti Twain came forward with a backup & recovery software package worth $1500. Awesome. Monica and Jay James have donated something that I believe is priceless, a private dinner for eight with Jay. Jay is a Master Sommelier. One of only 171 in the world! Pretty incredible. So, we'll partner with a restaurant to put on an unforgettable evening for 8 lucky wine nuts.

New Movie Teaser Coming Soon!

We shot footage for a new movie teaser that will be up on the website in the next two days.
We got some great help from Brian Danker, an SFPD Officer and great actor.
Brian had a nice scene in Milk, in which he played opposite Academy Award winner Sean Penn.
I think we will find a role for Brian in Nominated!

Also had a few donation trickle in. thanks to everyone who is contributing to the cause!

We're off to the races!
The website is up and live and we just set the date for a big fund raiser - May 16th!

In fact, we just got our first two donations; a $100 cash donation, very nice, and some gift certificates from Visual Image Salon in Fremont. THANK YOU!! Not bad for one day's work! The gift certificate and other donation will be for the silent auction we have at the May "launch party".

We WILL shoot in August of 2009 for 28 days. There will be 16 days shot in the SF Bay Area, and 12 days shot up in Arnold, California.
